Josh Amos Awarded 2022 Colorado Super Lawyers Recognition
Attorney Josh Amos has received the Colorado Super Lawyers Rising Stars criminal defense recognition every year since 2018. In 2022, he has graduated from his ‘rising star’ status to achieve the prestigious Super Lawyer recognition. Attorneys must pass a rigorous selection process to receive this recognition, including peer nominations, evaluations, and independent research. The coveted Super Lawyers recognition highlights lawyers who have achieved excellence in their practice areas. Up to five percent of attorneys in every state are awarded this recognition.
Josh Amos started with the firm in 2016 and quickly became partner. He belongs to the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, Colorado Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association. Josh’s experience includes trying numerous criminal cases in Federal, State, and Municipal Courts. He has successfully obtained acquittals or dismissals on several different types of cases, including first-degree murder, DUI, and theft for clients all over Colorado.
Josh Nowak Selected as 2022 Super Lawyers Rising Star
Our firm has also gained another Super Lawyers Rising Star. Attorney Josh Nowak has won the 2022 Rising Star for Super Lawyers. Rising Stars go through the same selection process but must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for no more than ten years. No more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state are named to the Rising Stars list.
After receiving his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2016, Josh began his career in criminal defense by working at the Brighton Office of the Colorado State Public Defender as Senior Deputy State Public Defender and later, Intern Supervisor. Josh currently sits on the Board for the Adams Broomfield Bar Association. His work at the firm includes defending clients against all types of offenses, from petty offenses to first-degree murder.
